Actor. A native of Orange, New Jersey, he was born Christopher Claude Collins. He is best remembered for his voice work in the series of "G.I. Joe" cartoon television shows and films (voicing such characters as 'Cobra Commander,' 'Gung Ho,' 'Ripper,' and 'Breaker'), as well as the voices of Starscream, Wheeljack, and Sparkplug Witwicky on the cartoon "Transformers." He was also the first voice of 'Mr. Burns' and bartender 'Moe Syzslak' on early episodes of the cartoon series, "The Simpsons," before Harry Shearer took over the voice roles. He also did voice work on, "Danger Team" (1991), "Visionaries: Knights Of The Magical Light" (1989), "The Blinkins" (1986), "InHumanoids" (1986), "Bigfoot And The Muscle Machines" (1985), "Spiderman And His Amazing Friends" (1981), and "Star Blazers" (1979). A stand-up comic before entering films and voice work, he toured through the 1980s and 1990s. His other films include, "Road House" (1989), "True Identity" (1991), "Blue Desert" (1991), "Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot" (1992), "A Stranger Among Us" (1992), and the television shows, "Married With Children," "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," "NYPD Blue," "Seinfeld," "Anything But Love," "Star Trek: The Next Generation," "Mama's Family," and "Mr. Belvedere."
