Obituary: Frances Lorena Redd Hamilton was born in Marion Twp., Hocking County Ohio on July 1, 1860. Early in her life she united in the U. B. Church at Bethany.
She was united in marriage to Arza Hamilton February 24, 1881. To this union were born 11 children, 4 daughters and 7 sons. The husband and 6 children have preceded her in death. She departed this life November 17, 1929, age 69 years, 4 months, and 16 days. She leaves to mourn their loss Fred, Virgil, Melvin, and Mary all of Logan, and Edward of Cleveland, Ohio. 8 grandchildren, 2 brothers, John of Lima, and Levi of near Logan.
She has been failing in health for the past 2 years. She was a kind and loving mother and neighbor. She will sadly be missed by her children and neighbors.
Funeral services were from the Methodist church in Logan, Tuesday November 19, 1929 with Rev. Kreiber officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery by the side of her husband.
