MRS. HANNAH M. SAYERS

Mrs. Hannah M. Sayers, wife of John Orr Sayers, of Strattonville, Pa., died at 7:19 Thursday evening, March 26, 1931.

The deceased was a daughter of John and Elizabeth Champion, and was born in Elk county, May 20, 1868. She was married to John Orr Sayers on July 10, 1886. To this union was born two children, one of whom preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn their loss her husband, one daughter, Mrs. C. H. Wenner, of Strattonville, and seven grandchildren. She also leaves her aged stepmother, Mrs. A. E. Champion, of Clarendon, and four half-brothers: Naaman Champion, of Clarendon; Joseph Champion, of Strattanville; David Champion, of Clarendon; George Champion, of Clarendon, and four half-sisters: Mrs. John Greenawalt, of Sheffield, Mrs. Grant Wood, of Edgerton, Wyo.; Mrs. Howard Magee, of Stoneham, and Mrs. Leon Jones, of Clarendon.

She was a member of the M. E. Church at Kingsville and was held in high esteem in the communities in which she has lived. She was a kind and loving wife and mother.

Funeral services were conducted from the Asbury M. E. Church by Rev. D. A. Platt, assisted by Rev. H. D. Call. Interment was made in the church cemetery.
