Marion Ruthie Broeksma, 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at The Kathy Hospice with her loving family by her side.

Ruthie was born on February 26, 1917 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Herman and Johana (nee Wondra) Glaub. Ruthie was united in marriage to John Broeksma on August 3, 1935. They enjoyed 71 years of married life before John passed away in 2006.

Ruthie is survived by two daughters: Delores (John) Klingberg and Ruth Ann (Larry) Bales. Loving grandma to Christine (Dan) Keen, Peggy (Jack) Sundquist, Brenda (Brent) Henschel and Jackie (Jeff) Beers. Proud great grandma to Eric and Michael Keen; Hailee Sundquist; Bryce, Cayden, Carter, Ella and Macey Henschel; and Ashton, Andrew, Allie and Amaya Beers. Ruthie was preceded by one brother Howard Glaub.

Funeral services will be held at Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory - Cedarburg on Monday, November 14, 2011 – 6:00 PM with Pastor Kris Ertl officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Entombment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Memorials in Ruthie's name will be shared with Immanuel Lutheran Church and The Kathy Hospice.

The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Kathy Hospice and Dr. Smale and the 3rd floor staff at St. Joseph's Hospital in West Bend, and for the tender care, prayers and visits provided to Ruthie by Pastor Kris.
