Mrs. Lucy Werner, 83, Dies Near Jefferson
Jefferson – Mrs. Lucy Ann Sterner Werner, 83, a life-long resident of the community, died at 9:45 o’clock last night at her home, Spring Grove RD 2, near here. She was the widow of Reuben H. Werner, who died 21 years ago.
Mrs. Werner is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Calvin Trone, and Mrs. Mervin Henry, both of Spring Grove RD 2, and Mrs. Samuel Miller, Brodbeck RD; eight grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Wilson Hershey, Spring Grove RD 1, and Mrs. J. L. E. Copenhaver, Hanover RD.
Funeral services will be held at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock, Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Jefferson Cemetery.
