Died, t the residence of Mr. J. A. Daniel, one mile North of town, on October 31, 1894, at 11 a.m., Mrs. Minnie Daniel, aged 31, 8 months and 7 days.


Mrs. Daniel was the daughter-in-law of Mr. J. A. Daniel, candidate for county judge, and the daughter of Mr. John Grissom, of Lavaca county. She had been sick for some time. The remains were buried Wednesday morning in the Public cemetery.

Hallettsville Herald. After a lingering illness with slow fever, Miss Minnie C. Daniel, daughter of H. B. and C. E. Grissom, died in her home in Gonzales last Wednesday. Deceased leaves a husband and three children and fond parents to mourn her departure. She was twenty-one years of age, was a noble hearted woman and raised in Lavaca county, where many friends sincerely regret her death. Mr. Daniel's children are also very ill with fever.
