Hannah is shown with differing middle names; some records show "Rebecca," and other records show "Reeves," which is her mother's maiden name. Her parents were William & Hannah (Reeves) Schooley. (One record suggests that the mother's full name may have been Hannah Rebecca [Reeves] Schooley.)

Hannah (the daughter) was married three times. First to Washington Durham. Second to Robert Hughes. Third to Whitfield Button. By her first husband she bore four known children: Judge Durham, Miriam Durham, Shiloh Washington Durham, and Victoria C. Durham. By her second husband she bore one known child: Delaney Eckles Hughes.

The Lisbon, Columbiana County, Ohio Registry of Deeds record a Quit Claim Deed whereby Hannah's father, William conveyed land to Hannah and her husband Washington Durham a tract of land on March 10, 1836, six months after Hannah and Washington married. (Vol. 24, page 552.)

Hannah Schooley Hughes Button died of paralysis.
