Lady Clothilde Valois Zeller was a french huguenot , and a noblewoman, and the daughter of Count Charles De Valois. In 1682 she married Jaques (De Sellaire) Zeller who was born in Zurich, Switzerland. They had 2 sons John Henrich and John George. In 1707 they crossed the English Channel to England. In 1710 they came to America, her husband Jaques died on the journey here. They spent 3years in the Hudson Valley of New York, then journey farther north to the Schoharie Valley in New York and stayed there for 13 years. In 1723 they along with a larger group traveled down the Sesquehanna River to Pennsylvania and settled in the Tulpehocken area near Stouchsburg.
