Stella Mae Aberli, 86, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. She was born on April 5, 1925 in Paris, KY to John and Carrie White Hutchens, who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred G. Aberli; and her daughter, Patricia Ann Embry.
Stella was retired from Brown-Forman, having worked as a line runner and inspector for 44 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Aberli is survived by her daughter, Judy K. Stroud (Terry); her granddaughter, Laura Mae Williams; grandsons, Steve Patrick Sommer (Brandi) and Brian Allen Embry (Dawn); several extended family members, including eight great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday .Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. until service time Friday. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Published in The Courier-Journal on November 11, 2011.
