Alban H. Fiedler

Alban H. Fiedler, 91, 126 Forest Ave., Plymouth, died this morning at Plymouth Extended Care Facility.

Born March 29, 1887, in Plymouth, he was the son of Louis and Louisa Bade Fiedler.

He attended St. John Lutheran School in Plymouth and Plymouth High School. He was a licensed cheesemaker.

He married Adele Luth, June 19, 1912, in Plymouth.

The couple lived in Sherwood, Winneconne and De Pere, where they operated cheese factories, and in Jackson, where Mr. Fiedler was employed by a canning company. They then moved to the town of Greenbush where they operated a cheese factory untilmoving to Plymouth, where he was employed at the S and R Cheese Co. for 31 years before retiring in 1971.

His wife preceded him in death June 8, 1962.

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Plymouth, and the Sheboygan County Cheesemaker'sAssociation for many years.

Surviving are two sons, Edward Fiedler of Midland, Mich., Walter Fiedler of Laurel, Md., and a daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Ruth) Fenner of Racine; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one brother, Elmore of Newport News, Va.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisiters.

A funeral service for Mr. Fiedler will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Wittkopp Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. Dennis Pegorsch, associate pastor of St. John Lutheran Church will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday and on Monday until the time of the service.

Burial will be in Plymouth Union Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established in Mr. Fiedler's name.
