Oran - Mrs. Burl (Rebecca) Anthony, of Oran, died today at MO Delta Community Hospital in Sikeston. She was 79 years old.
She was born Jan. 3, 1907, in London, Ark., the daughter of David and Rebecca Bean Waldo.
On Aug. 10, 1929, she married Mr. Anthony, who survives.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oran.
Also surviving are two sons, Tharon and Aaron Anthony; two daughters, Wanda Smith and Glenda Buchanan; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Six brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Oran. Burial will be in the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery near Morley.
