Daniel Sheneman
Daniel Sheneman was born in Ohio, April 4, 1849, the son of Jonathan and Elizabeth Sheneman, and departed this life May 18, 1928, age 79 years, one month and nine days. His marriage to Miss Louise Lower took place in Ohio in 1867. Mrs. Sheneman preceded her husband in death some 33 years ago.
He leaves three sons and three daughters, J.P., Orville, and Roy Sheneman of Walkerton; Mrs. Edward [Mary Clementine] Liggett, of North Liberty, Mrs. Fred Morris, of New Carlise, and Mrs. Alex Warner [Minnie]of Walkerton.
Twenty-five years ago, Mr. Sheneman retired from his occupation of farming. The last five years he had lived with his daughter, Mrs. Morris, at whose home he passed away.
Funeral services were held in the First Brethen church, North Liberty, the pastor Rev. JW Clark, was in charge. Burial in the North Liberty Cemetery.
