EDEN - Kendra S. "Kendry" Grant, 59, of Eden, celebrated her "Continuation Day", surrounded by family and friends, after a 16-year battle with cancer, on Nov. 7, 2011.

She was born July 23, 1952, in Randolph, the daughter of Alton (Pete) and Audrey Slack Scribner.

Kendra graduated from BraintreeRandolph High School, 1970. Following high school she attended Vermont College of Cosmetology. She worked as an administrative assistant and bookkeeper at several local businesses. Kendra leaves her beloved husband, Brian. She will be deeply missed by her family: her sister, Sherry Bedell of Braintree; her stepchildren, Cindy Grant of Barre, Matt Grant of Eden and Mike and his wife, Jeanne, of Essex Junction; her stepgrand- children, Jessica and Adam, Trevor and Marcie, Austin, Tori, Maria and Jay; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Anzley, Parsons, Aiden, Mason, Matthew and Thomas; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Eric and Barbara Grant of Morrisville and their children, Tyler of Alpharetta, Ga., Adam and his fiancee, Amy Menard, and their children, Alex and Cole Grant, Tucker and Dayne Garrett, all of Morrisville, and Ian and his wife, Rachael, of Wolcott and their daughter, Amelia; great-nieces, Amanda and Faye; cousin, Gloria Wing; and special friends, Dorothy, Jan, Scott and Donna, Arlene, the Woodnorths, the Woods, Drs.
