Imogene was married to Charles Eddson Turner, a retired Smithfield postmaster. Mr. Turner was born in Smithfield, now part of North Richland Hills, and was a lifelong resident. He was postmaster of Smithfield for about 40 years and retired about 1980.

Charles Eugene Turner and Steven Edson Turner, both of Watauga, and Jan Clair Turner of Gordonville
One son, Timothy Gerald Turner, predeceased her in 1972.
