For the last 34 years he lived and Wapello County. Surviving are his wife, Anna, a daughter, Mrs. Norvella Jacobs of Ottumwa route 5; two sons, Earl H. Apley of Evanston Illinois and Howard Apley of Ottumwa route 5; five grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. The body is at Johnson's funeral Chapel pending completion of arrangements.
