Hazel Greenwood Sirrine passed away peacefully of natural causes June 12, 1995, at Sandy Regional Rehabilitation Center, at the age of 99.

She was born December 30, 1895 in Beaver, Utah, and moved to Union, Oregon at the age of seven with her family. Married Wilford W. Sirrine, June 1, 1916, and solemnized October 10, in the Salt Lake Temple. Wilford preceded her in death October 3, 1982. Hazel was an active member of the LDS Church all her life, holding many positions, especially in the Relief Society. She is a wonderful example of kindness, patience and service to her children, 26 grandchildren, and 36 grandchildren.Survived by one daughter, three daughters-in-law and three sons: Vera (Wayne) Markkanen of Beaverton, Oregon; Marilyn of Sandy; Garth (Emogene) of Portland, Oregon; LaMar (Gladys, deceased) of Murray; Gordon (Carma) of Sandy; Belle of LaGrande, Oregon; June of Pendleton, Oregon. Preceded in death by three sons, infant, Ivan, Warren and Lynn.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 15 at 11 a.m. in the Lake Hills Chapel, 10055 So. State St., Sandy. Interment at Lake Hills Cemetery.
