Funeral services will be held at Lafond - Ardoin funeral home chapel for Harry Joseph Vicknair III,44. Service time is pending. Harry went to be with the Lord on Oct.28,2003 at 3:30 am in our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, La.He was a mechanical maintenance person for Yoohoo in Opelousas. He was a resident of Eunice.
Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Prairie Ronde.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Vicknair of Eunice, a son Shain Vicknair and Jessica Picard of Carencro ; two daughters, Llyly Vicknair and Angela Vicknair both of Eunice; three brothers, Charles Vicknair of Alexandria, David Vicknair and wife Terry of Mamou, Keith Vicknair and wife Jeanine of Lafayette; four sisters Lou Carrouth of Lawtell, Diana Lazaone and husband Craig of Turkey Creek, Jessica vicknair of Lafayette and Tina Vicknair of Lafayette; his mother , Faye Woods of Tioga; and his mother in law , Jeannette Young. He is also survived by three grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Camille Vicknair Jr.; and a twin brother Larry Vicknair.
The family request that the visiting ours be observed from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and 8 a.m. Thursday until time of services in Lafond - Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas. A rosary will be prayed tonight.
