Azuba became the wife of Levi W Matice of New York. They were married 03 Sept 1854 in Grattan, Kent, Michigan and had four sons:

Levi died n 1862, and Azuba married secondly, becoming his first wife, to Hiram A Barrett Sr also from New York, the son of Isaac Erastus Barrett and Patience Hudson. They were married 25 Jan 1868 in Kent County, Michigan and had three children:
* Hiram A Barrett Jr
* Adela Marion Barrett Deike
* James Barrett
