Dorothy Quinn Elliott
(LAKE CHARLES, La.) The funeral service for Dorothy Quinn Elliott, 74, of Lake
Charles, La., formerly of Wadley, was Sunday, Sept. 6, 1998, at 2 p.m. at Wadley First
United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Huffman officiating. Burial followed at
Wadley City Cemetery.
Mrs. Elliott died Friday, Sept. 4, at her home.
A Wadley native, Mrs. Elliott was born Aug. 15, 1924, daughter of Charles and Katie
Brown Quinn. She was a homemaker and a member of Wadley First United Methodist
Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ray Elliott.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Ingalls of Lake Charles; two sisters, Daisy
Parmer and Lucille Elliott, both of Wadley; four grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Trent Ingalls, Felix Weldon, John Hall, Rick Bailey, Bob Bugg,
Steve Cotney, Troy Hodges and Gil Boudoin.
Honorary pallbearers were Lewis Elliott, Charles Elliott, Raymond Elliott, Stanley
Cotney, Elliott Cotney, Tommy Floyd, Scott Elliott, Craig Elliott, Waymon Hodges,
Fred Pearson and Allen Pearson.
Quattlebaum Funeral Home, Roanoke, was in charge of arrangements.
