ALERT: An Alexander Glass b. 1832 who married a Martha Dunning, has been indexed in the Shadrach Dunning Cemetery, Henry Co. MO., and some have shown him to be this Alexander Rankin Glass. The birth dates are not the same and there is a significant difference in the year.
Did Rankin have an earlier marriage that produced a son Alexander? Rankin was 25 yrs when he married Martha Dunning in 1843, Alexander was born 1836 when Rankin would have been 18 yrs.
