Rosemary J. Doyle, age 77, of Greenwood, IN. and formerly of Galena,OH passed away peacefully on Thursday morning October 20, 2011 at The Hearth at Stones Crossing in Greenwood.

She was born on June 6, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Anne (Kazimour) Sykora. A homemaker,she was a former member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Sunbury, Ohio and member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Rosemary loved her grandchildren and when they said they loved her she would sing the song "I Love You a Bushel and a Peck" to them. An avid bowler since the age of 14 she was still active and on a bowling team last year. Rosemary was a great cook making perogies, pork dumpling and sauerkraut, homemade milkshakes and an apple dapple cake for her husband on his birthday. A lifelong accordionist, she began playing at the age of six. She loved Snyder Potato Chips and spending time with her family.

Survived by her loving children: Jim (Barb) Doyle of Columbus, Ohio; Sharon (Charley) Dantzer of Greenwood, IN; Kathleen Doyle, of Bellingham, WA; Marlene (Randy) Rathmann of Hoffman Estates, ILL.; Tim (Lisa) Doyle of Omaha, AR; 16 grandchildren: Jayme Williamson (John), Kevin and Kelly Doyle; Jessica, Justin, and Jameson Dantzer; Brian and Sean (Stephanie) Frey; Randy (Kristie), Joey, and T.J.Rathmann; Tamika, Keagon, Brandi, Brianna, and Katie Joy Doyle; great grandchildren: Addison and Connor Rathmann; brother: Larry (Del) Sykora of Cleveland, Ohio; sister: Ann Marie Dvorak also of Cleveland; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Preceded in death by her husband of 54 years: Joseph "Jim" Doyle on August 3, 2007.

Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10 a.m. at St. John Neumann Church, 9633 E. SR 37, Sunbury, Ohio, Fr. David Sizemore celebrant. Private interment Monday October 31, 2011 at the Western Reserve National Cemetery near Rittman, Ohio.
