Daughter of the late James H. & Texanna Mann Durham; widow of J. Hardy Gilstrap.
She was a member of Woodside Avenue Wesleyan Methodist Church, and had lived in Greenville for 10 years, since becoming a widow in 1958.
She was survived by six step-daughters; Mrs. Ocie McCall, Mrs. Ora Howe, Mrs. Maggie Griffin, Mrs. Sallie Adcox, Mrs. Betty Mae Brooks, and Mrs. Carrie Fritz; two step-sons, Lloyd Gilstrap and J.B. Gilstrap; 28 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Her funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 10, 1969 at Golden Creek Baptist Church near Liberty, conducted by three local Liberty pastors.
Burial: West View Cemetery, Liberty SC.
