Pearl McDonald, 87, of Greenville, died Wednesday night at her residence. Services will be at Wesley United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Mike Nichols officiating.
Graveside services will follow at 4 p.m. in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bell County, near Nolanville.
Born April 6, 1907, in Eastland County, she was the daughter of John and Ida Havens Lane. She married James Walter McDonald on May 14, 1928. Mrs. McDonald lived in Greenville for the past 15 years and was retired from Mid-Tex Telephone Company in Killeen. She was a member of Joy Spurlock Sunday school class, United Methodist Women, Kendrick Dye Bible study, Eastern Star and Wesley United Methodist Church where her daughter, Mrs. Tom Norman is organist.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Tom Norman of Greenville; sisters, Ola May Virdell of Garland and Mildred Nichols of Fort Worth; and grandsons, Timothy Norman of Denton and Tony Norman of Greenville. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters; and one brother.
Family will receive friends at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home today from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Tommy Gardner, Steve Gardner, Mark Nichols, Rawdon Allen, Patrick Berry and Collins Tow will serve as pallbearers.
