I contacted someone many long years ago in Lowellville that knows the area real well and does a lot of family research. They did a bit of checking for me and said that the cemetery they suspected that Mary Hogg McArthur was probably buried in was one that has a lot of very inexpensively made gravestones that were made out of sandstone, a very soft rock, that does not hold up well to erosion and most all of the older stones made out of that type of rock are eroded down to where you can't tell the names on them any more. I think they said the cemetery was close to a river but in looking on a map of Lowellville, the Mahoning River looks to be the closest to a cemetery, the Lowellville Cemetery, than any other cemetery in Lowellville and it is not real close to the river, like maybe a mile away?
Mary Hogg McArthur was one of my great great grandmother's.
