Alice served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as company clerk of WAC detachment and retired from GMAC in San Bernardino, CA.
In 1943 she married Hugh "Alvin" Singleton who preceded her in death in 2008. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Lee Strong. Survivors include her daughters; Sharon Lee Lutton of Seattle, Washington, and Patty Lynn Gray of Oak Glen, CA, sons; Alvin Lewis Singleton of WI, and Robert Arthur Singleton of Palmdale, CA, 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will take place on Thurs. Oct. 27, 2011 commencing at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in San Jacinto, CA. A graveside service will be at Riverside National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. staging area #5.
