Ida Frances Atchley was the
daughter of Rhoda 'Long' Atchley
and Claiborn Atchley. She was the
granddaughter of Maples Long and
Mahala 'Atchley' Long. Also William
Atchley and wife.

She married Calvin Pleasant Maples
October 14, 1908 in Arkansas.
Ida was the mother of 5 children:
Charles Ober - April 8, 1910-June 10, 1910
Silas Avo
Martha May
Iva Blanche
Caldonnia - Feb, 22, 1920-June 11, 1921

Ida was a loving mother and wife.
She kept in touch weekly with her
family in Arkansas, Missouri, Texas,
and Oklahoma.
Ida kept her family records, letters,
including ones from her father,
Claiborn. Her original pictures of
her parents and of herself as a
child and many other family members
are wonderful. She kept old family
Bibles, original obits, paper articles
about any and all of the families.

I now have the privilage of having
all of these wonderful family
treasures. I am carefully going
through each and every piece that
are in 6 huge boxes. Her daughters,
Martha and Blanch had always kept
them and added much more to these
treasure boxes. There are hundreds
of pictures, dating back to early
Boone County, Arkansas and the
family members. Also reports of
the huge Long, Atchley and Moore
family reunions held in the early
1900's. I'm carefully going
through each box and piece by
piece of the contents at this time.
The documents, letters, post-cards
and Bibles are very brittle and
will have to be handle carefully,
so not a one will be damaged. Some
of the pictures are of gg grandmother,
Mahala and her family that hasn't
been seen or in the hands of other
researchers. I'm so grateful to
the family that contacted me and
gave me the opportunity to obtain
these family treasures.
