Funeral services for Fred J. Bowling, 60 of Brownstown, well known Jackson County businessman for many years, who had operated Bowling Motors on East Tipton street for many years since 1950, will be conducted at 10 a.m. from St. Ambrose Catholic church here with his cousin, Father George Bowling of Kentucky as celebrant. Two of his other cousins, who are priests, will assist in the services. Burial in the Catholic cemetery.

Mr. Bowling was a member of Seymour Council, Knights of Columbus and a charter member of the Brownstown Lion's Club, is survived by the widow. three sons. three daughters, two brothers, three sisters and twelve grandchildren.
