FREEPORT -- Joshua D. Kahl, 27, of Freeport died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.
Joshua was born April 10, 1977, in Freeport, the son of Kurt and Deanna (Farringer) Kahl.
He attended Freeport schools and enjoyed fishing, poker, darts and mud volleyball.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Deanna and Jay Pacek of Freeport; his father and stepmother, Kurt and Sherrie Kahl of Freeport; one sister, Treasure Kahl of Freeport; one brother, Jason Farringer of Freeport; maternal grandparents, Ron and Maryann Farringer of Freeport; paternal grandparents, Dale and Nancy Veach of Buena Vista, Ark.; aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Schwarz Funeral Home in Freeport with Pastor Keith Boyer of Crossroads Community Church officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
