South Connellsville — Marcia Louise Bartholomai, 52, of South Connellsville, Fayette County, Pa., died Thursday, March 23, 2006, at her residence. She was born July 10, 1953, in Connellsville, Fayette County, Pa., a daughter of Patricia (Bybel) Tannehill and the late Ronald Tannehill (Oct. 19, 1998).
Marcia was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville, and was a graduate of Connellsville High School, class of 1971. She was a long time employee of the Connellsville Area School District cafeteria program, and also worked for Erwin's Comet Drive-in and Flea Market. Marcia enjoyed vacations with her family at Ocean City, Md., and Benezette, Pa. (Elk County).
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Anthony "Dutch" Bartholomai, Jr., whom she married May 20, 1972; three daughters, Jennifer Baldwin and husband, Chris, of Pittsburgh, Pa., Beth Geary and husband, Steve, of Connellsville, and Amy Bartholomai and fiance, John Zimmerman, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a son, Matthew Bartholomai, of South Connellsville; grandchildren, Alexis Brooke Geary and Matthew Baldwin; a brother, Fred Tannehill and wife, Wendy, of Connellsville; a sister, Christine Pritts, of South Connellsville; and also numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Anthony "Pork" Bartholomai, Sr. (March 17, 1997).
Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 2 and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., 418 N. Pittsburgh St., Connellsville, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville, with the Rev. Fr. Dennis Bogusz as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Connellsville.
