Christ Rath, 72, passed away at a Miles City hospital Saturday morning. Mr Rath was a resident of Circle where he had lived ever since his retirement from ranching in 1955. He and Mrs Rath had homesteaded in the Watkins area since their marriage in 1913.
He was born in South Russia and came to live in the US when he was 11 years old, settling with his parents at Kulm ND.
Surviving are his wife, two sons, Lawrence and Cecil, both of Brockway; three daughters, Mrs Raymond (Lorraine) Heitz, Mrs Albert (Lillian) Moos, and Mrs David (Marvel) Schlinker, all of Brockway
Two sisters, Mrs Justine Heitz and Mrs Christine Wolff, both of Terry, also survive him.
