Obituary: SKELTON - Sunday morning, Jan. 26, 1908, Mrs. Catherine (sic) D. Skelton. Funeral services at the late home, 716 Astor street on Wednesday at 2pm. Interment private at Forest Home. Her spouse's name was John Robert Skelton who was born in England.

Mrs. Catherine Skelton, formerly of this city, but for many years a resident of Milwaukee, died at her home in the latter place on Sunday, the 26th ult., from pneumonia, after an illness of short duration. She is better remembered by our earlier residents, having resided in Hastings in the early years. She was a native of England but came to America years ago. She was a woman of excellent character and was beloved by all who knew her. Her husband died in the early days here. Her life was brightened by a large family of sons and daughters, who have all been a credit to her, many of whom have preceeded her to the better land. One son, Mr. H.T. Skelton, resides in Minneapolis, the reminder of her family are in Milwaukee.
