Carl H. Bell, 83, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away at Columbus Regional Hospital on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 1:08 a.m. Carl was born on June 30 1928, in Syracuse, Kansas, the son of Henry Franklin and Henrietta Delilah (Lucas) Bell. He served in the U. S. Air Force during Korean War. Carl worked at Seymour Housewares for 43 years retiring in 1990. He married Velma Stanfield in 1952 and she passed away in 1997. Carl was re-married in 2002 to Lucy Taskey and she passed away in 2006.
Mr. Bell was a member of Cortland Christian Church. He loved gardening, woodworking and family.
He is survived by a son, David Bell; 1 grandson, Christopher (Jessica Foster) Bell; 2 granddaughters, Krystal (Rex) Rodgers and Diana Page (Zachary Cole) Bell; 6 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Faye (Bill) Price and Zelma Idlewine; a brother, Russell (Wanda) Bell and many nieces and nephews.
His parents, both wives, 2 brothers, Ervin and Leo Bell and 3 sisters, Lillie Smith, Mildred Nelson and Lenora Fleetwood preceded him in death.
