MRS. LINKER OF VEEDERS EXPIRES
Funeral Services Are Held At 2 O'Clock Sunday Afternoon.
VEEDERSBURG - Mrs. Mary Linker, 79, died at the home of her son, Richard Linker, here at 1 o'clock Friday morning, Dec. 25, 1936. She had been in failing health for a number of months and her death was attributed to the infirmities of old age.
Born on a farm three miles east of Veedersburg, Jan. 20, 1857, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Miller, she spent her entire life in this vicinity. She was married to Edward Linker, who expired in 1929.
Mrs. Linker was a member of the Veedersburg United Brethren church.
Surviving, in addition to the son at whose home she died, are one son, John Linker, Santa Barbara, Calif., one sister, Margaret Hushaw, near Veedersburg, twelve grandchildren, and six great grand children.
Funeral services were conducted at the home of her son, Richard Linker, at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Interment was made at the Cold Spring cemetery, north of Veedersburg.
