Visiting at Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie, 7:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Friday. Religious services at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Bunkie, at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by Father Joseph Montalbano. Burial in Pythian Cemetery, Bunkie.
Survived by two daughters, Maretta Gautreaux and Lorraine Dupuy, both of Baton Rouge; three sons, Havage Lachney, Alexandria, Leo Lachney Jr., Baton Rouge, and Bruce Lachney, Baton Rouge; four sisters, Louisiana Slocum, Cottonport, and Emma Robinson, New Orleans, Rena Hill, Baton Rouge, and Grace Dupuy, Marksville; a brother, Deo Aymond, Bunkie; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Leo Lachney Sr.; parents, Adelma and Amathe Aymond; three brothers, Leon, Elster and Feefe Aymond; and two sisters, Hazel McMills and Edimas Jeansonne.
Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie, in charge of arrangements.
