World War II Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He was killed in action. He served as a Corporal in the United States Army in a Antitank Company (57-mm Antitank Gunner), 2d Battalion, 26th Infantry, 1st Infantry Divison. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for action on December 20-21, 1944 near Dom Butgengach, Belgium. (bio by: Don Morfe)
