Obituary:
DYER, ELWOOD LEE "SPARKY" 65 - of West Creek, NJ passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2007. He lived his entire life in the West Creek area. Throughout his life Sparky was a baymen, clammer, bulkheader, and landscaper but his passion was hunting. He was a wonderful guitar player and was a founding member of the Southern Specific Band and he also played at Albert Music Hall in Waretown, NJ. He was in fellowship with Cedar Run Assembly of God Church in Cedar Run, NJ. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Carol Dyer of West Creek, son Elwood Lee Dyer Jr., daughters Brenda Arre and husband Tim of Toms River, NJ and Jeanette Altieri and husband John of Little Egg Harbor, brothers Dennis Dyer and John Dyer and sister Judy Holloway. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren Scott, Samantha, Brianna, and Hunter and great granddaughter Meadow Rain. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 31, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Run Assembly of God Church, Cedar Run, NJ. Maxwell Funeral Home, Manahawkin was entrusted with the arrangements.
