Memorial services for Billy Dale Botkin, 80, Chouteau, are Thursday, June 4, 11 a.m., at Stephens Memorial Chapel. Chaplain Mark Tibey will officiate. Services are entrusted to Stephens Memorial Chapel.

Botkin was born April 10, 1929, in Wewoka, to Louis and Goldy (Berryhill) Botkin. He died May 30, in Claremore, at the age of 80 years, 1 month and 20 days.

He spent most of his lifetime in Chouteau and Locust Grove. He was a maintenance supervisor for Ajax Die casting, retiring in 1996. He married Kath Blackwell April 1, 1975, in Miami. She preceded him in death Oct. 9, 2007. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all enjoyed being with his grandchildren.

He is survived by three sons Clay Botkin and wife Terri, Minot, N.D., Mark Botkin and Scott Botkin, both of Claremore; two daughters Tawanna Blakely and husband Robert, Tucson, Ariz. and Jewelliegh Nicholas, Claremore; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronnie Botkin and wife Billie Faye, Rose.
