Obituary of Luda ( Walker ) Clark :
Mrs. W.O. Clark died at her home in Bethel township Saturday morning, aged 63 years, 6 months and 2 days. The cause of death was anemia from which she has been a sufferer for over five months.
Funeral services will be held at the Bethel Baptist church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Interment in Bethel Cemetery. Rev. Oldham of Greenfield, will conduct the funeral services.
Luda Walker was born Oct. 25, 1848, in Trenton, Todd County, Kentucky and came to McDonough County, locating in Bethel township.
On October 6, 1873 she was united in marriage to Wm. O. Clark, who together with six children, still survive her. Following are the names, Mrs. Jed M. Wayland, Mrs. Gertrude Ames, Guy and Fred R. Clark, all of Macomb, Mrs. S.W. McKamy of Vermont, and Mrs. E. S. Hoyt of Tennesee.
Deceased lived a life of simple devotion to duty and right. Joined the Baptist church twenty years ago and was a faithful and consistent member of that denomination.
