Hannah Guth Loser was the daughter of Peter Guth, and the second wife of Peter Loser. Hannah's sister, Isabella Hannath Guth Loser was Peter's first wife, they married about 1844 as their son Josiah was born 6 May 1845. When Isabella died on 4 April 1850, her sister, Hannah Guth came to take care of Peter and Isabella Loser's children, Josiah, William, Emma Clarisa and Elmira.
In the 24 September 1850 census, Hannah Good - "Guth", listed as age 26 yrs. is found in the home of Peter Loser, her brother in law. The arrangement must have suited them both as on 28 November 1850, Peter Loser and Hannah Guth married. They had one daughter, Rosina Loser born 13 July 1851 and she died 19 November 1851..
