Eugene T. Jenkins
Eugene Talmadge (Big Jenks) Jenkins, 67, died Feb. 18 at Hospice Savannah.

He was a native of Evans County and had lived in Garden City the past 40 years. He was a member of Garden City Primitive Baptist Church. He was formerly a member of the Port Wentworth Lions Club. He was employed with the Savannah Sugar Refinery for 37 years retiring in 1989 due to ill health.

SURVIVORS: his wife, Blanche Jenkins of Garden City; a step-daughter, Sandra Johnson of Guyton; two step-sons, Raymond Scott of Stockbridge and Waynard Scott of Guyton; a sister, Jaunita Spells of Richmond Hill; three brothers, Ralph Jenkins of Springfield, Carlton Jenkins of Newnan, and Earl Jenkins of Savannah; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Monday at Fountain Funeral Home, entombment in Hillcrest Abbey , West Cemetery Mausoleum.
