and was buried at the Empire Church Cemetery.

Seaborn Lewis spent most of his life in the same community of the Empire Church area until he passed . His wife Fannie Corbitt Lewis later married George 'Dock' Browning and they had three children. She later passed on October 23, 1937 and was buried in the Sweetwater Cemetery on the Pearson-Douglas Highway.
