PERCY -- Elaine C. Stickler, 85, formerly of Marissa, died at 7:35 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, in Red Bud Regional Hospital.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville, with the Rev. Joel Catlin officiating. Burial will be in Percy Village Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Cardinal Glennon Hospital.

Elaine C. Stickler, 85, of Percy, formerly of Marissa, Ill., born July 28, 1926, in Florence, Ala., passed away at 7:35 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 02, 2011, at Red Bud Regional Hospital in Red Bud, Ill.

Mrs. Stickler was an area representative for Gino Morena Enterprises and was of the Presbyterian Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Martin Stickler, whom she married November of 1947, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., and who died in 1976; two sons, Michael Eugene Stickler and Jonathan Joseph Stickler; parents, Frank B. Davis and Chappel Roberta, nee Roberts, Davis; and two brothers, Frank E. Davis and William B. Davis.

Surviving are her children, Sam (Nola) Stickler of Walsh, Ill., and Cathy (Kenneth) Jaimet of Percy, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; host of great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Flora Davis and Betty Davis.
