Opal Lee Thompson, 77, of Cayucos died Friday, June 3, 1988, at a San Luis Obispo hospital.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Cayucos/Morro Cemetery. Pastor Mark Alvis of the Cayucos Community Church will officiate.

Mrs. Thompson was born Oct. 26, 1910, in Middletown, Missouri. Her family moved to Fresno when she was 7 years ol. She married Morris E. Thompson on Nov. 27, 1928 in Fresno.

A homemaker most of her adult life, Mrs. Thompson and her husband owned and operated Cayucos Curios Gift Shop for seven years after moving to Cayucos in 1958. Her hobbies included ceramics, needlework and gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Morris E. Thompson of Cayucos; a son, Morris E. Thompson Jr. of Madera; a daughter, Theadora Jones of Clovis; a brother, Homer Chandler of Cayucos; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 321 N. Aviador St., No. 113, Camarilla, California 93010.

Reis Chapel of Cayucos is handling arrangements.
