MUNCIE--Bernice Arnold, 89, of Muncie, passed away September 30, 2011 at her home with family by her side. She was born November 16, 1921 in Wilder, TN, to the late John and Ada (Hood) York.
She was a homemaker and worked at the Holiday Inn Muncie for 21 years, retiring in 1984. She loved her garden and canning and most, she loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Homer Wright; and a daughter, Earline Koger.
Survived by Eddie Dean (Kathy) Wright of Muncie, Louie Edward (Judy) Wright of New Castle, OK, Charles David Wright of Jacksonville, TX, and Ervin Lee (Gayle) Wright of Pikeville, TN; several grandchildren; several great-grandchidlren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2011 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, IN. There are no calling hours prior to the services. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
