Born September 10, 1949, in Newberry, he was a son of the late Colie B. and Kathleen Trammell Kinard. He was a logger and a member of Wightman United Methodist Church.
He is survived by sons, Larry Wayne (Selena) Kinard of Little Mountain, Robert Allen Kinard and Richard Kevin (Johnette) Kinard both of Prosperity; brothers, Colie B. Kinard, Jr. of Prosperity and James E. (Pat) Kinard of Newberry; three grandchildren and a great-grandson. Mr. Kinard was predeceased by a sister, Mary Bowles.
Graveside services were at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Prosperity Cemetery, with the Rev. Michael Turner officiating.
