Noted Spanish Motion Picture Producer. He is best remembered for the production of "Chimes at Midnight"(1966), directed by Orson Welles. He also produced the trilogy of Carlos Saura "Bodas de Sangre" (1981), "Carmen" (1983) and "El Amor Brujo" (1985). His last work was "El Quijote" (1990) for Television. He was the husband of actress Enma Penella.
