Jehu George Byrnside, 70, of 702 Abney St., St. Albans, died Thursday at his home after a long illness.
A lifelong resident of Lincoln and Kanawha counties, Mr. Byrnside was a retired gas and oil field driller.
Surviving are his wife, Dana; five sons, George E., Cecil O., Ernest F., J. V. and L. C. Byrnside of St. Albans; two daughters, Miss Beulah Byrnside of St. Albans and Mrs. Joseph L. Rife of Chillicothe, Ohio; one brother. Dr. B. C. Byrnside of Oak Hill; one sister, Mrs. J. R. Young of St. Albans; and 15 grandchildren.
The body is at the Alley and Casdorph Funeral Home in St. Albans.

Services will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday in Abney Street Church of God in St. Albans with the Rev. Wade Austin officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Park at Hurricane. Mr. Byrnside. 70, of 702 Abney St., St. Albans, died Thursday after a long illness. The body is at the Alley and Casdorph Funeral Home at St. Albans.
