Mrs. Joella Acker, age 63, of Ola died Monday at the hospital in Russellville. She was a native of Texas and lived at Ola 12 years. She was a member of the Plainview Baptist church and was a past matron of the Ola Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Acker; two sons, John Acker of Everett, Washington, and Tom Acker of Fayetteville; three daughters, Mrs. W. E. Zorn of Del Rio, Tex. Mrs. Robert Wells of Danville and Mrs. James Furr of Ola; three brothers, George Walker, of Comanche, Tex. and Homer and Jim Walker of Waco, Tex. four sisters, Mrs. Cora Jernigan of Hubbard, Tex. Mrs. Lee Womack and Mrs. J. C. Crockett of Dallas and Mrs. Demmie McDonald of Terrell, Tex. 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
