James Earl Johnson, 60, of Buena Park, California, died January 11, 1989, in Doctor's Hospital of Lakewood, California.
Mr. Johnson, a retired factory worker, was a Crystal Springs native, and was a Methodist.
Memorial services were held at 2 pm January 15, at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, Crystal Springs. Interment was in Veterans National Cemetery of Riverside, California.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley of Buena Park, California; daughter, Susie Brewer of Crystal Springs; sons, Ronnie Johnson of Pearl, and Jimmy Johnson of Georgia; sisters, Robbie Thornton and Grace Suttle, both of Jackson, and Verlin Sutherland of Terry; and brothers, Homer Johnson, Harding Johnson and Ellzy Johnson, all of Crystal Springs.
