Sheriff of Coweta County, Georgia. When he left Office, not a felony case was left unsolved.

Sheriff of Coweta County for 32 years. The new Coweta County jail was dedicated to his memory in 1977. He helped organize and was president of the Newnan Baseball Association in 1950. Probably most noted for his role in solving the murder of Wilson Turner by John Wallace, a Meriwether County farmer.
